Strictly Come Dancing's Michelle Visage 'SNUBBED for live arena tour in blunt email'

Michelle Visage has reportedly been left out of the line-up for the upcoming Strictly Come Dancing tour, despite being one of the favourites to win.

The RuPaul's Drag Race UK star, 51, who has scored consistently high with the BBC show's judges, is reportedly 'annoyed' after allegedly being told the news in a 'blunt email', following negotiations with bosses.

A source told the Daily Star: 'Michelle was approached by the producers working on the tour a while ago. They talked her through the dates and asked if she could be available. But then suddenly she got an email saying she wasn’t needed.

'The message was short and blunt. Michelle was left feeling confused by the whole thing and pretty annoyed. She is trying her hardest to impress on Strictly and feels like she deserved a place on the tour.'

MailOnline has contacted representatives for Michelle Visage and Strictly Come Dancing for comment.

American star Michelle has been a favourite with judges and viewers of the show, consistently receiving high scores and placing among the top of the Leaderboard.

Michelle recently hit back at claims that she 'hates' British Cheryl, after they clashed over Baga Chipz' advertisement for bottled water on Thursday's episode of RuPaul's Drag Race UK.

The Strictly star responded to a fan who tweeted: 'Omg why does @michellevisage hate @cherylofficial so much. Someone spill the tea immediately #DragRaceUK.'

Michelle fired back: 'Omg it's telly! We actually love each other!' followed by a heart emoji.

During Cheryl's guest judge appearance on Thursday's show, she appeared to ruffle feathers with mainstay Michelle as the duo clashed during judging.

The two women split opinion on Baga Chipz' product, after RuPaul asked the drag queens to create an advertisement for bottled water.

Michelle couldn't appear to get her head around the concept of Baga's water and said: 'I'm really not sure about the water concept. With what you were selling, I think we had more fun watching you put stuff in your mouth.'

But true to form, Baga quipped: 'I think I was just trying to sell fish and chips in a bottle that just fills you up.'

'Let's hear from the other judges,' Michelle said, 'Maybe it's just me?'

'I think it's just you,' Cheryl fired back, 'I think it was actually smart that you kept it on brand. If I was gonna buy that water, I would know that was associated with you. Michelle?'

Correcting Cheryl, Michelle responded with: 'Well her name's not battered sausage is it? It's Baga Chipz!'
